Having grown up with the internet, it seemed like a great medium to share information. Certainly if you were making something and selling it online. A single web page could share every possible detail about a product specification. Allowing people to make an informed choice before parting with their money. In many case we have gone from having the product on display, where you could look at it like and buy it. Or hate it and not buy it. But at least you knew why you liked it or hated it.
Nowadays, despite the internet’s ability to provide detailed information, I feel it doesn’t always deliver as much useful content as it could. While too much information can be overwhelming and confusing, much of what we encounter relies heavily on images or pictures, which are increasingly AI-generated. Often, these visuals lack sufficient detail about specifications, leaving important information incomplete.
