Having seen the available parts that can be used, now it is time to see how they can form a decorative bar. As said in the previous page these start at 250mm and increase by 75mm. You will very soon notice the taller the bar the more detail we can fit into it.
Where prices are specified this is the additional cost per unit when placed into a plain railing, so the replacement cost for a plain railing.
250mm tall bars
A tight squeeze but some of the bars can take two parts.

This is what can be achieved in a 250mm tall bar. Some of the double parts are a tight squeeze but they do fit. In the next size up there is only 1 additional part. Prices don’t change for the larger parts, as the price of the upright bar is already factored in. The only price change is for the larger S scrolls.
Note: double and triple parts that feature in taller bars are priced using the above scale. A bar containing a single collar and a double star would be £3 for the collar and £4 for each stat. so total of £11 per bar.
325mm tall bar.

This is the only addition decorative bar available when we increase the height to 325mm, There is now enough space to make a double basket bar,
All other bars remain the same, except it is now possible to use the 300mm tall S scrolls
400mm bar
With 400mm tall uprights, it is now possible to use 2 pairs of the smaller S Scrolls to create a decorative bar.
It is also possible to use the 400mm tall double headed S scroll.
At this size double part bars now have a little more space
475mm bar
Now we are in big trouble, this is the first realistic size where we can get 3 parts per bar. Meaning we are thrown a massive choice. But this is only going to be for railings that are close to 700mm tall, with railing heads.
