Ever noticed that the internet is full of the same old designs when it comes to garden gates? Several designs are found on multiple websites, all looking the same. It is kind of boring really, but it shouldn’t be. Because when it comes to garden gates, there are thousands of possible designs. I pride myself on offering a massive range of designs, all made to measure, while keeping prices as low as possible.
We offer two ranges a budget style and a standard style. The budget has limited designs available, which fine because it is a budget gate. The majority of people choosing a budget want a good solid construction at a sensible price. So a limited choice of designs isn’t usually an issue. The Standard range is far more adaptable, it supports literally thousands of designs with the choice to change material size and use thicker material. Allowing for a premium quality heavy weight iron gate.
All gates are drawn with steel posts for illustration purposes only, posts can be supplied on request. But it is normal to hang a garden gate on brick piers.
Budget range wrought iron garden gates.
Although we have a vast range of designs available far to many to list, I have taken a selection from our designs library and listed them here with price details. All budget gates use 30mm x 5mm flat for the frame with 12mm round for uprights. These are all based on using 5 uprights in the gate the means a gap between bars of 120mm on a 915mm wide gate and 138mm on a 1 mtr gate.
If requested any these could be made as a 7 bar upright gate. thus reducing gap to around 90mm on a 3ft wide gate and around 110mm on a 1 mtr wide gate.
Plain and very simple budget gate, perfect when you are on a tight budget and need a made to measure garden gate.

Standard
Our Standard range is anything but standard, It is a highly customizable range where many aspects of the gate can be change on request. This includes the type of railing head or top decoration. The thickness of material used to create the gate. In short nothing is fixed and everything is changable. But of course we need a base to start from. So again I have selected a few designs as a reference point to work from.

This doesn’t even scratch the surface in terms of gate designs we do. There are far to many to list here but some of the designs can be found at Garden gate designs.
All gates are supplied with adjustable hinges, these allow around 15mm adjustment larger or smaller than stated size. These are excellent when you don’t have a perfectly upright wall, as the hinges allow for levelling of the gate. Whilst we could offer them on fixed hinges for a reduction in cost we generally don’t. In my opinion it is worth the extra few pounds they cost to get perfect levelling of your gate.
